What is Plating / Electroplating
About
Plating, or electroplating, is a process that coats a product with a thin layer of metal—such as gold, silver, nickel, or chrome—to improve appearance, corrosion resistance, and durability. Electricity is used to bond the metal evenly to the surface.
Today, plating is also widely used in the AI and electronics industry, where high-precision metal coatings help improve conductivity, protect connectors, and ensure stable performance in advanced devices.

One of the hardest license to obtain in China
In China, Factory must have both a “Pollutant Discharge Permit (排污许可证)” and an “Electroplating Operation License (电镀证)” in order to legally perform electroplating. (KunShan Kaigui Ornament Co.,Ltd. obtains them both to ensure our customers meets the environmental obligation and standard for their products)
